About Mike

Mike Lessard is a Florida native and the founder of Mike The Mac Guy. Born in Sarasota, he now lives in Venice with his wife and their two children. Growing up, he was fascinated by technology and computers, always eager to learn about the latest advancements in the tech world. His journey with Apple products began in the early 2000s while working in the audio and video production industry. After many years of using and troubleshooting Macs in that field, he felt a calling to change careers and began working for a local Authorized Apple repair shop in 2013. During his time there, he developed a strong passion for working with and sharing his knowledge of Apple products. He also earned numerous Apple certifications, strengthening his expertise in macOS, iOS, and Apple hardware.

Recognizing a need for a business that provided on-site Apple support, he decided to take a chance and start his own company. Based in Venice, Florida, Mike has been providing on-site IT support for both residential and business clients in Sarasota County since 2023.

Born is Sarasota, I now live in Venice with my wife and our two children. Growing up, I was fascinated by technology and computers, always eager to learn about the latest advancements in the tech world. My journey with Apple products started in the early 2000s while working in the audio and video production industry. After many years of using and troubleshooting Macs while working in this field, I felt a calling to switch careers and started working for a local Authorized Apple repair shop in 2013. While working there I really developed a love for working with and sharing my knowledge of Apple products. During this time I earned many Apple certifications, strengthening my knowledge in macOS, iOS and Apple hardware.

Realizing there was a need for a business that provided on-site Apple support I decided to take a chance and start my own business. Based in Venice, Florida, I have been providing on-site IT support for both residential and business clients in Sarasota County since 2023.
