Apple has unveiled the iPhone 16e, a new addition to its lineup that balances advanced features with affordability. Priced at $599, the iPhone 16e replaces the iPhone SE, offering a modern design and enhanced performance.

The iPhone 16e features anOLED display measuring 6.1 inches, providing vibrant visuals and an immersive viewing experience. Apple has also included Face ID on this device, which allows users to unlock their phones and authenticate apps with facial recognition. The iPhone 16e also replaces the traditional mute switch with a customizable Action Button, which allows users to assign various functions to the button.
Performance
The iPhone 16e is powered by Apple’s A18 chip, which allows the device to take advantage of the Apple intelligence features available on iPhone 16 lineup. The device also includes Apple’s first in-house designed 5G modem, the C1 chip, which enhances connectivity and supports faster data speeds.
Camera
The iPhone 16e has a 48-megapixel Fusion camera system with an integrated 2x telephoto option, allowing users to take high-resolution images and zoom in without compromising quality.
